As an artist, I intend to create works that serve as a source of healing for all who view them.I believe that art has the power to transport us beyond our everyday experiences and into a state of poetic reverie. I began my career as an artist because I wanted to create a space where viewers can experience a"runner's high" of sorts, where they are liberated from the confines of their minds and can see the world in a new way. By tapping into this sense of wonder and awe, I hope to remind people of the inherent beauty and interconnectedness of all things. Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to help facilitate a sense of oneness and unity among all people. I believe that by creating works that inspire us to see the world in a new way, I can contribute to the healing of our collective consciousness and help us remember the infinite potential within us all. Painting in oil, I feel is a tribute to the masters and the ground they paved to allow us to understand art in evolving ways. I continue to refer back to master’s work (such as Monet, Sergent, and Sorolla) for guidance and inspiration.
