Born in California's Central Valley, Allison's artistic journey began through drawing and photography. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, and later continued her education at the University of Southern California. However, it was at UC Berkeley that her love for art truly flourished. As a young child, Allison discovered her passion for art through dance, a vibrant outlet that continues to allow her to channel her energy and creativity today.
As an artist, Allison is dedicated to creating works that offer healing and solace to those who encounter them. She believes in art's extraordinary power to elevate individuals beyond the ordinary, encouraging them to appreciate the beauty in the mundane and recognize the delicate threads of existence. Nature serves as a profound source of inspiration for her creativity, particularly its captivating color palettes. While hiking, she captures fleeting moments through photographs, which inform her paintings with vivid hues and shapes.
For Allison, art is woven into her very identity; she is committed to refining her craft and pushing the boundaries of her imagination, always seeking to inspire and uplift others through her work. She lives and works in Piedmont, California, with her three young daughters, her husband, and their very large red Labrador.
